Bio Sauna

Infrared cabin, Finnish sauna or bio-combi sauna?

What do Finnish sauna and organic combined sauna mean?

As soon as you research saunas, you very often come across the terms Finnish sauna and organic sauna. But what does that mean and which sauna method is right for me?

Sauna bathing is good and healthy. Sauna lovers can sing praises about it. But not just in winter. Even in summer, you can wonderfully relax in your own sauna and at the same time strengthen your immune system.

It has been proven that sauna bathing helps reduce stress, detoxify the body, and strengthen the immune system.

And since health cannot be bought, one should try to support and strengthen it as much as possible.

The classic, well-known "Finnish sauna" is also called a dry sauna.

This has very high temperatures of 85° C - 100° C, a low humidity of often less than 25%, and is only suitable for people with a stable circulatory system.

The hot and dry air stimulates the body to sweat.

The thermal change stimulates the body to work. Due to the typical temperature gradient, you can decide for yourself how hot you want it to be. While it is pleasantly warm in the lower bench area, the higher you go, the hotter it gets.

Of course, you can also vary the temperatures in the Finnish sauna at will on the sauna control and set them lower if you don't like it too hot.

To temporarily increase the typical low humidity, a sauna infusion is used. Water is poured over the stones with a wooden ladle.

You can enhance the sauna experience by adding different sauna scent essences to the water and making an aromatherapy out of the infusion.

With essential scents like eucalyptus oil in the infusion, you can breathe deeply.

Furthermore, one can also introduce other Finnish practices such as soaking a birch whisk. Afterward, one "beats" oneself with the softened birch branches over the legs, arms, chest, and back to properly stimulate blood circulation.

The rising scent of the birch leaves provides additional aroma in the sauna cabin.

The organic sauna, also called a steam sauna, is a 2-in-1 sauna.

The organic sauna, also called a sanarium, is the gentle version of the Finnish sauna.

In the organic combined sauna, temperatures usually range from 45°C - 60°C and humidity is around 40 to 55 percent. The organic sauna is optimally suited for beginners, seniors, people with circulatory problems, and families with children. If you have health restrictions, you should definitely consult your doctor beforehand and clarify whether sauna bathing is okay for you.

Combined sauna heaters and the associated sauna control units offer you two sauna variants in one.

Organic sauna heaters have a built-in evaporator pan that can be filled with water. On the corresponding control unit, you can enter the desired humidity, and the control unit gives you a maximum temperature.

The sauna heater heats up and automatically ensures perfect humidity.

Here too, you can of course work with infusions in between, but this is rather rare since there is already high humidity and aromas are evaporated via a scent bowl over the heater.

And if you feel like using the Finnish sauna with high temperatures and low humidity, turn off the humidity during your next sauna bath and set a correspondingly higher temperature.

Furthermore, LED color lights can be used, which can have a positive effect on body and mind with the help of different light spectra.

An alternative to the sauna is the infrared cabin

The infrared heat cabin is an alternative to the traditional sauna. The body is warmed up gently on the circulatory system. The deep heat penetrates deep under the skin.

The infrared rays stimulate metabolism and blood circulation. This leads to an increase in body temperature and heavy sweating.

Intensive sweating positively influences the immune system and gently trains the cardiovascular system.

Infrared radiation can support the treatment of back and joint problems. Before or after sports, infrared is perfect for relaxing muscles.

Sweating cleanses the skin and can help improve the complexion.

The decelerating session in an infrared cabin promotes well-being and increases vitality.

Ideally suited for heat-sensitive people and people with severe circulatory problems. Whether young or old - the infrared heaters emit heat from 38°C - 55°C depending on the setting, gently make you sweat, and relieve tension.
