Hemlock - The king among woods.

Hemlock fir is almost knot-free, giving every sauna a very elegant ambiance.
Typical for Hemlock are occurring mineral streaks (brown or light gray) and brownish bark inclusions.
The color is relatively uniformly light brownish.

Due to its low thermal conductivity, it is very frequently used in sauna construction.

B-Grade*

*For B-grade, we always recommend buying at least 10%-15% more wood than actually needed. This is a safety measure to ensure you ultimately have enough usable and well-preserved wood for your sauna construction.

Because B-grade also includes wood with knots and defective wood.

Covering Area*

*When calculating for your sauna construction, pay particular attention to the fact that for the board area, the wood will be 10 mm smaller when installed (due to tongue and groove).
This is important to mention so that you don't have the problem of too little sauna wood during installation.

The specified length is to be understood as a minimum length. The actual measurement may vary.

Wood is a natural product:

Deviations in structure and color, mineral streaks, growth-related surface and color differences are not a reason for complaint in a natural product like wood, but emphasize its natural authenticity and individuality.

Important note on B-grade:

With B-grade, defective wood must be expected, e.g., with isolated knots, cracks, and chipped areas, which is why we advise you to calculate 10-15% more wood.
