As of July 1, 2012, wood-burning stoves in Europe may only be placed on the market with 'CE NORM EN 15821' certification.

As of January 1, 2015, wood-fired sauna heaters must meet an additional standard - 1.BImSchV Level 2.

Stoves that comply with 1.BImSchV Level 1 may continue to be sold according to the manufacturer, but the buyer must discuss this in advance with a chimney sweep and obtain approval.
The smaller stoves that comply with 1.BImSchV Level 1 could not be modified for technical reasons, which is why only the larger wood-fired stoves comply with 1.BImSchV Level 2.

Therefore, please clarify your intentions in advance and ask your district chimney sweep which of the standards (1.BImSchV 1 or 1.BImSchV 2) your future wood-fired sauna heater must comply with.

The Li-near 18 Compact wood stove is suitable for small and medium-sized saunas and meets emission requirements and efficiency levels (BimSchV2).

The advanced structure and air circulation of the stove ensure that the sauna heats up quickly. Safety is ensured by the double-walled construction, which keeps the sauna's wall structures cool and allows flexible installation in various types of saunas.

This sauna heater requires very small safety distances all around. The solid frame guarantees a long service life.
