The large round barrel for sauna bathing. Due to its compact shape, the barrel sauna is very well suited for smaller gardens. The design is space-saving and ensures excellent heat distribution.

It heats up quickly and because there are no corners, the hot air can circulate faster through the room.

The barrel sauna is made of spruce wood.

As with all woods, external treatment is very important if it is exposed to external weather conditions. The interior is rounded off by linden wood.

Wood-fired sauna stove Linear 18 Compact with BimschV II

high-quality and modern wood-fired stove. The Linear 18 Compact wood-fired stove is ideal for small and medium-sized saunas and meets the emission requirements and efficiency levels (BimSchV2).

The advanced structure and air circulation of the stove ensures that the sauna heats up quickly.

Safety is ensured by the imperceptible double-walled construction, which keeps the sauna's wall constructions cool and allows for flexible installation in various types of saunas. This sauna stove requires very small safety distances all around (9.2 cm)

The solid frame guarantees a long service life.

Important notes:

As is well known, there are many regulations in Germany. Depending on the federal state, city and municipality, the installation of a barrel sauna (garden sauna) is equated with the (new) construction of a building. It may therefore be necessary to submit a building application. 

 
Tips:

Building permit:

Before purchasing, be sure to ask your local building authority whether a building permit is required.

Snow load:

Inquire with your local authority about the prescribed load standards.

Foundation plan:

We recommend having a foundation built by a professional. This way, problems due to heavy weight, moisture or frost cannot occur afterwards.

After the concrete slab has been completed and dried, it is recommended to completely seal it with roofing felt or torch-on membranes.

Foundation size:

The foundation should be approx. 10 – 15 mm smaller than your garden sauna. This allows water to drain off the outer walls and the outside of the foundation.

Note:

If the foundation slab is larger than the footprint of the sauna or pool house, rainwater may collect all around the log cabin sauna and the base frame may stand on wet ground. As a result, the wood can soak up the water and begin to rot.
 
Our manufacturer's tip: Pull up the torch-on membrane or the sealing on the base frame!

Floor insulation:

For optimal insulation, it is recommended to insulate the floor between the foundation timbers with Styrodur (thickness = 50 mm). The spacing of the foundation timbers can be varied.  

Roofing:

The included roofing felt is designed for temporary weather protection. However, it is not suitable as a permanent roofing!
Roofs are exposed to special weather conditions. Therefore, it is recommended to consult a roofer about suitable roofing.

Windows and doors:

The windows and doors are also delivered untreated wood. To protect them from moisture, rain and frost, they require a suitable surface treatment with a matching wood glaze.

 Delivery:

• Delivery is by truck. It must be ensured that access to the unloading point is possible.
• Unloading is carried out by forklift (1.5-2t, depending on the model) or crane and must be organized and carried out by the end customer.
• If manual unloading is necessary, a truck standing time will be charged subsequently.
• The end consumer is responsible for transporting the outdoor sauna from the unloading point to the installation site.
